Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
EmanAite respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit emanaite.com or contact us, why we do so, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is:
- EmanAite, sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) owned by Wassili Quist
- Registered office: the Netherlands
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 90941586
- VAT number: NL004852775B27
- Email: wassili@emanaite.com
2. Which data we process
We only process personal data that you provide to us or that is necessary to operate this website:
- Contact data: your name, email address, company and the content of your message when you email us.
- Appointment data: your name, email address, company, your question and the chosen time when you schedule a conversation on this website. These details are added as an appointment to our Google Calendar, which sends you an invitation.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and the pages requested, which our hosting provider processes in server logs to deliver and secure the website.
3. Why we process your data
We process personal data only for the following purposes and on the following legal grounds:
- To answer your questions and arrange conversations, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or on steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement.
- To prepare and perform agreements with clients, based on the performance of a contract.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as the Dutch statutory obligation to keep financial records, based on a legal obligation.
- To keep this website available and secure, based on our legitimate interest in a reliable, safe website.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We store only strictly necessary data in your browser: your language choice, your cookie choice and, once you open the scheduler, a random code so you see the same available times when you return. These do not identify you and are not shared with anyone.
Should we ever add analytics or other non-essential tools, they will only be activated after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
The website font is hosted on our own website, so no data is sent to external font services when you visit.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers who process it on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider and our email and calendar service providers, under appropriate agreements.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
If you follow a link to an external service such as LinkedIn or Google Calendar, that service's own privacy policy applies.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep contact and appointment data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and no longer than two years after our last contact unless an agreement requires otherwise. Financial records are kept for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting earlier processing.
8. Exercising your rights and complaints
To exercise your rights, email wassili@emanaite.com. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorized access, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top.
